Row editing and updating in gridview in asp net
I Take it that without a SQLDatasource thats bound to your gridview, you will have to connect to the database again and update the database manually.
But I cant seem to find any way to do this other than the SQLData Source that is bound to the gridview that does the updating automatically.
If I rebind with old data that was saved in a Session variable, I lose the edited data which I did at the begining. Per kamalchhabra's suggestion it rebinds to nothing. What I'm trying to do in Grid View2_Row Editing() is to dynamically handle row edit because it's not handled statically with Data Source ID attribute.
now bind that Session["data"] to gridview afetr gv. New Edit Index; Per kamalchhabra's suggestion it rebinds to nothing. What I'm trying to do in Grid View2_Row Editing() is to dynamically handle row edit because it's not handled statically with Data Source ID attribute.
